I love pediatrics because you get to see healthy, happy, growing babies and children. This is also the best time to practice preventative medicine and catch problems before they ever happen or get out of hand. I love to teach my patients lifelong healthy habits and help them to learn conditions. I believe that you are the best advocate for your health and the only person who can fully express how you feel and what your goals are. Having a supportive group around you is essential, especially for the very little ones or those who cannot speak for themselves.
