Women’s health was not a journey I knew I would always take, but it is something I fell in love with. I have been fortunate to have strong mentors from the beginning of my career who have helped foster a passion for providing woman-centered care. I first started my career as a nurse in labor and delivery. I grew to love the full circle of labor, birth, and newborn care, and care of the new family. The move to midwifery was a natural step to be able to provide care for women in all stages of their lives. I have three daughters, and we enjoy family adventures, game nights, and movie nights.
I am a Certified Nurse Midwife. I have lived in North Carolina since I was 11 years old and love calling North Carolina home. I comes with a broad work experience, and I have a passion for providing competent, compassionate, and family-oriented care. I feel it is important to empower women and their families to achieve a safe and warm experience, whether it is in pregnancy, birth, or women’s health.

I am an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Most of my patients are active and are unable to participate in the activities they enjoy. I treat patients of all ages with shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain. This includes young athletes with ACL injuries, shoulder dislocations, or hip impingement; middle-aged patients with rotator cuff tears or meniscus injuries; and older patients with shoulder arthritis. I also treat patients with a variety of fractures. My goal is to ensure that each patient has an excellent experience throughout their care. My treatment philosophy involves truly listening to each patient and understanding their goals for care. This allows us to make a joint decision regarding the best treatment, whether that involves surgery or non-surgical options. I spend most of my free time with my wife and daughter. I enjoy playing a variety of sports, staying active, and traveling.
