I am a general cardiologist at Kernodle Clinic with Duke Health, practicing at the Burlington and Mebane locations. I manage cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. I have a particular interest in preventive cardiology. I enjoy educating patients about their heart issues, understanding their priorities, and helping them choose the best available treatment options. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and playing badminton and tennis.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a physician like my father, and I’m honored to join him in practice here. I cherish the opportunity to build trusting relationships and provide care for women throughout all stages of life. My OB-GYN care involves preventive care, managing chronic diseases, weight management, guiding women through pregnancy and childbirth, advocating during vulnerable moments, treating infertility, and performing gynecologic surgery. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, traveling, cooking, baking, staying active through running, Orangetheory Fitness classes, Peloton rides, and pickleball. I live in Greensboro, North Carolina, with my husband and two cats, and I am an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church community.
I’ve always expressed a passion in caring for women and children. I first started my career as a nurse in acute care general pediatrics. While working as a pediatric nurse, I often would interact with first-time mothers and women in the postpartum period when they visited their hospitalized newborns. This interaction sparked my interest in Women’s health because these women would often need anticipatory guidance pertaining to breastfeeding, newborn care, etc. Later in my nursing career, I ventured out and became a Women’s Health nurse (mother/baby nurse and labor and delivery nurse) which provided me with an opportunity to observe a certified nurse midwife. I fell entirely in love with midwifery. Being able to empower, strengthen and advocate for women during all faucets of life and being able to provide newborn care and care for the new family is the greatest fulfillment and honor.
As a certified family nurse practitioner, my current role is specializing in pulmonology, helping to manage various lung disorders. My prior position was in internal medicine as a primary care provider in Florida. I believe in treating my patients the way I want my family treated. I love being able to help educate patients about their health, and I want the patient to be a partner in their care. My family and I moved to North Carolina in March 2024 to be closer to the mountains. I am excited to discover North Carolina and enjoy outdoor adventures.

I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in the care of patients with neurological conditions, including headaches, memory disorders, movement disorders, seizures, neuropathy, and more. My passion for neurology stems from a desire to help patients navigate complex health challenges with confidence. I am committed to providing patient- and family-centered care, with a focus on health promotion and wellness through education and counseling. By integrating my training as a family nurse practitioner, I strive to build trusting, long-term relationships that support both the neurological and overall health needs of my patients.

I am interested in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory heart conditions such as sarcoidosis and amyloid.
I specialize in caring for adult patients aged 18 and older with general endocrinology issues. Endocrinology, the study of hormones, fascinates me because hormones regulate all aspects of our lives and influence the function of all other organ systems. Being a proficient general internist is essential to being an effective endocrinologist. In my approach to medical care, I emphasize collaboration, with the patient and I serving as co-leaders of the care team. As a physician, my role is to provide guidance, education, coaching, and support. I derive great satisfaction from establishing enduring partnerships with my patients as they learn to manage their chronic diseases. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, baking bread, cycling, and spending time in nature. I am a wife, mother, dog mom, and an enthusiastic college sports fan.
As a general orthopaedic physician assistant, I am able to treat and consult on a wide variety of conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, bone, muscle or sport injuries in kids all the way to arthritis and joint issues in adults. As someone who enjoys working out, hiking and was a former college athlete, I am no stranger to broken bones and injuries. I was lucky to be helped by some amazing doctors, physician assistants, and physical therapists in the past, which has allowed me to stay active, play the sports I love and pass on the great medical treatment I’ve been given. I strive to get everyone back to doing what they enjoy.
I am a recent graduate of Elon University’s Physician Assistant Program, and I look forward to starting my career as a physician assistant with the amazing team at Kernodle Clinic Cardiology. Before PA school, I worked in the cardiology field for three years and knew I had found my niche during this time. I cannot wait to grow my knowledge base and provide patient-centered care for many years to come.
I have 15 years of nursing experience, with the past six years spent working as a nurse practitioner in primary care, where I found my passion for chronic disease management. Chronic disease can be very challenging for patients and families, but with the right management, support, and an excellent provider as a partner in your care, there is great opportunity for living fully with chronic disease. My goal is for patients to feel known and cared for when they see me for their healthcare needs. We are partners throughout your journey with chronic disease. I joined Kernodle Clinic Cardiology with the aim of partnering with patients with chronic heart disease for this reason. Having grown up in Graham, it has been a sweet, full-circle move for me to come back home by joining Kernodle Clinic. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children outdoors, playing, hiking, running, camping, or sitting around a campfire.
