I specialize in caring for adult patients aged 18 and older with general endocrinology issues. Endocrinology, the study of hormones, fascinates me because hormones regulate all aspects of our lives and influence the function of all other organ systems. Being a proficient general internist is essential to being an effective endocrinologist. In my approach to medical care, I emphasize collaboration, with the patient and I serving as co-leaders of the care team. As a physician, my role is to provide guidance, education, coaching, and support. I derive great satisfaction from establishing enduring partnerships with my patients as they learn to manage their chronic diseases. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, baking bread, cycling, and spending time in nature. I am a wife, mother, dog mom, and an enthusiastic college sports fan.
I am new to Kernodle Clinic and practice general endocrinology which includes diabetes, thyroid and bone disease. I am dedicated to providing specialized, patient-centered care that allows for open discussion at each visit. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the natural beauty that North Carolina has to offer from the mountains to the beaches, with my husband.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, jogging, and hiking with my family and our dogs. I am also a Notre Dame Football fan and watch games whenever possible in the fall.
