I was raised in Greensboro and I have been practicing in Alamance County since 1989. I am married with three sons and my wife and I are active in our church . I enjoy the relationships that I have with my patients and look forward to caring for my patients in the years to come at my new location in Mebane with Kernodle Clinic.
About me
I chose family medicine because it provides the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with not just my patients, but also their families. Growing up in Alamance County, I value the unique experience and privilege of treating patients from the local community. I am from Graham, North Carolina, and I still reside in the area. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, cycling, and running.

I chose to practice Family Medicine because I enjoy following patients long-term and establishing working relationships with them. I particularly enjoy taking care of entire families. My goal with my practice is to educate, motivate, and empower my patients to take ownership and manage their own health with my assistance. My faith and my family are very important to me. I don’t work on Wednesdays because I have made the commitment to my wife and two daughters that Wednesday is our family day. Despite this, I try my best to accommodate my patients and see them in a timely manner when they are sick because I believe there is value in having an established relationship and trust between a physician and a patient.
