Ulysses Toche, MD

I care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and complexities, from younger adults to older adults. With my older patients, I focus on screening, diagnosing, and treating geriatric syndromes, including cognitive impairment and dementia. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care that addresses both the medical and psychosocial aspects of aging. My holistic, evidence-based approach emphasizes quality of life, offering personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. I strive to minimize risks and maximize the benefits of all treatment modalities, especially medications.

I treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases, as well as preventative care. I was raised in Clayton, North Carolina and have lived in Alamance County since 1997. I enjoy helping and treating patients within my community. My approach to patient care is meeting patients where they are currently and working with them to create a plan that caters to them individually. My philosophy to patient care is to spend time with my patients, listen to them, understand them, encourage them, and build a relationship based on trust and honesty. I have three children at home with whom I spend most of my free time. I love to sing and am active within my church.

Radhika Kalisetti, MD

The medical profession has always been my calling since I was in high school. As an internal medicine doctor, I treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions while also providing preventative care. As a Burlington resident since 2010, I feel blessed to serve my community. Each day brings new situations and different scenarios, but adopting an individualized approach that caters to each patient, allows me to provide the best care possible. My practice philosophy involves spending adequate time with my patients, listening to and understanding their medical problems, and developing a relationship based on trust. Helping my patients achieve their health goals is been a very humbling yet fulfilling experience. At home, my husband, daughter, and I, along with our energetic dog, are usually engaged in some fun activity together. I like reading books, practicing yoga, and traveling to new places with my family.

ABOUT ME…
My path to becoming a doctor was nontraditional. After two years of college, I bought a family photography business and worked with my wife in the studio. Ten years later, the studio was asked to do the photography for a marketing campaign for the local hospital. Listening to the stories of patients and doctors in the campaign inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. My journey through medical school led me to pursue internal medicine as a specialty. I love that it gives me the ability to treat a wide range of medical problems and feel that it plays an important part in helping me to care for my patient’s overall health needs. My wife and I were high school sweethearts growing up in Georgia and have enjoyed living in North Carolina for many years. The people in this area have been good to us, and I wish to return that kindness through the great medical care.

I began my medical career as a radiologic technologist performing x-rays and CTs at High Point Regional Hospital. After a year of working, I desired to go back school to become a physician assistant so I could be more involved in patient care. I am very passionate about patient care, satisfaction, and developing long term friendships. I decided internal medicine to get to know my patients better and their families. When I am not practicing at the clinic, I am enjoying family time with my wife. I also enjoy kayaking, fishing (catch and release), golfing, and grilling out.

ABOUT ME…
It has been one of the great pleasures and honors of my life to be able to care for and become friends with the many great people of Alamance County over the two decades I have practiced.  I have always tried to treat my patients like the friends and neighbors they are. I treasure the ability we have had to laugh, celebrate and cry together during some of life’s important moments. As many of my patients are aware from knowing me as a doctor and friend in the community, I have several other interests in life. First and foremost, I consider myself a family man who loves to spend time with his family. I am also an avid reader who enjoys fiction as well as an eclectic variety of other books ranging from philosophy and religion to astronomy, history and sports topics. I like to boat and fish when time allows and I do enjoy a round of golf (as cliché as that may be for a doctor). I am able to provide primary care to all adult ages and I think I have a thriving practice after 20 plus years of practice. I do get added satisfaction helping the very vulnerable patients I care for who are confined to nursing facilities and I hope I have made them more comfortable over time.
